Yes you’re right, the same title as the last blog …….but another song!
In explaining our coming to the USA our most frequently used quote was to do with the Pilgrim Fathers……
‘It was said of them, “Some came for money, some came for land, but they came to pray, and their prayer was, ‘Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on this part of earth and then from this part of earth to the uttermost parts of the earth as it is in heaven.’”
Confirming the message of the last blog, I came across the following interview with Juan O Savin (107) where he talks about our being part of a ‘pilgrim company’ and describes how ‘dreams’ are becoming realities and how this is now beginning to go out from America to other nations.
Our prayer continues that America might lead the way with ‘servant leadership’ characterizing God’s Kingdom, and bearing the fruit of ‘righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit.’
Again going from the global and international to the local and personal , this ‘Dreams Becoming Reality’ was also our experience last weekend.
In our closing circle one mature brother, called to a national ministry on the mountains of education and family, confessed to having his world turned upside down, with the revelation of his Father God with a smiling face, and the realization that ‘relationship precedes function’
A sister said all her life people had said to her they had visions of her with Jesus, but for the first time on the retreat she had an experience of Jesus with her, for herself!
Another young man declared his life was now transformed as he walked free from fear, ‘sealed with God’s love.’
The circle danced with Dad in delight to Joy-shua’s song (linked on the last blog), and ‘spun ecstatically’ as we affirmed our Father’s declaration over us…..
