I mentioned how God had seeded his heart for America in my heart long before we were lead to move there. With Hilary it was the same.

Over 50 years ago she returned to Belfast from her QUB hockey tour in Canada with the picture below which now sits in her WeeOnesWear sewing room.

We were so delighted last week to receive a PBS documentary about our adopted daughter Raine and, how she is being used to bring a fresh breath of ‘spring’ life to traditional Dakota crafts and language on her home reservation. She embodies “The Soul of the Indian” in her own unique way creating the same beauty, Hilary’s picture above portrays.

I believe the opposite to the spirit of ‘’show business’, in this land is the Spirit of ‘authentic love.’

That means it is usually hidden, always humble, and inevitably lived out in acts of sacrificial kindness.

Raine’s mother Fern is the moderator of the Presbyterian Dakota presbytery. When we first visited Pine Ridge reservation years ago the church seemed a lifeless space. A few weeks ago Fern brought us reports of another springing up of life at Wounded Knee as a number of those who have been homeless and fallen foul of addiction are finding a new purpose and way of life in sobriety and a faith community! A young man called Abram is being used to pioneer this expression of “authentic love.’

In response to my last blog I also discovered one of my readers has been bringing help to Kyle regularly and the local pastor has now invited him and us to do an open air concert and meal in the town this summer!

0n the flight over I was prompted to watch 2 movies. ‘A Haunting in Venice’ is the latest offering from Kenneth Branagh of ‘Belfast’- both the place and the movie.

The brilliance of the Hercule Poirot detective story is how in the plot every detail is woven together in the end. The same is true for the real life story Father has scripted for each one of us.

As the credits were rolling at the end, I couldn’t believe my eyes when this name appeared…..

Remember I just posted that the ‘pole of inaccessibility in North America’ is between Kyle and Allen, – our name and Brad’s name?!

Even the ‘Haunting’ in the name of the movie reflects my comments about how God is now answering the prayers of those who were involved there at Wounded Knee 134 years ago in the ‘Ghost Dance!

The second movie I was prompted to watch was ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ which tells the story of how the native Osage people were exploited when oil was discovered on their land in Oklahoma.

Again as I watched I was taken aback when the name of the main character in the true story surfaced…..

Mollie Kyle.

Why Mollie Kyle, was the name of my favorite auntie in Belfast!

In such wonderful ways all our personal stories are scripted to dovetail as a part of The Big Story.

The heart of The Big Story we remember this weekend when out of the apparent defeat of death Jesus snatched victory as he springs to life again.

As I pondered the significance of ‘the pole of inaccessibility.’ I realized this is where Jesus went after he died. As the creed states…

‘He descended into hell.

The third day he rose again from the dead.’

In rising we read in Ephesians, “He lead captivity captive.”

As the song on the last blog said,

There is now nowhere that the love, the blood, and the grace of Jesus does not extend……..even to the place Father lead us to for dinner last night🙂

Kyle is the absolute center of North America. – it’s heart.

I was wowed when I discovered a few years ago, that this, the ‘pole of inaccessibility’ (i.e. the most remote point from either coast) was next to the town of Kyle on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota!!

God seeded his heart for this land in both Hilary ‘s and my heart long before we ever contemplated moving here.

So maybe it was destined that Kyle be literally, the ‘heart of America’🙂

For me as a teenager God had used the classic,”Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee” by Dee Brown to capture my heart.

Shortly after arriving in the US my friend Brendan arrived from Ireland and picked me up in Minneapolis to drive with him on a mission trip to South Dakota….to the Pine Ridge Reservation!

That was when I first visited the town of Kyle…….just next to the site of the Wounded Knee massacre!

Tears of identificational repentance, prayer and proclamation flowed easily in that place.

‘Lord Jesus we enthrone you we proclaim You are King…….Come Lord Jesus and take your place….in this place.‘

‘When the Chiefs win the Super Bowl we will move into a new era.’ The Cherokee prophet Bob Jones had prophecied before his death.

50 years of nothing. Then in 2020 it happened. Then again in 2023. And now for a third time this year, 2024, the team known as ‘The Kingdom’ were victorious. A third witness denotes timing. Now.

I realized that we had been privileged to be given by God the lines of three Chiefs as personal friends since our move here in 1994.

Father’s direction to us was simply, “Make friends and be friends.”

He first brought Renee from the other end of the country to have us meet ‘providentially’ in a crowded hall of hundreds. She was a descendant of the Dakota chief Cloudman whose encampment was beside what used to be known as Lake Calhoun ,recently renamed, Bde Maka Ska, as it was originally in the Dakota language.

Having heard the gospel from the Pond brothers who were the fruit of the “Great Awakening’ out east, the chief found himself lost in a blizzard. He became a believer after crying out to their God, “If you are the real one, rescue me!”

It was one of his daughters who married a soldier from Fort Snelling, Captain Seth Eastman who became an artist famous for his iconic paintings of that era in ‘the West’.

Their son Ohiyesha took on the name Charles Eastman and became the first Native American to graduate from Davenport as a medical doctor.

He also happened to be the attending physician at the Wounded Knee massacre.

Renee’s ‘Uncle Charles’’ book, ‘The Soul Of The Indian.’ captures beautifully the essence of his people, their faith and way of life.

If, as many are prophesying, America is to be ‘reborn’, this is the original ‘Soul’ of America.

I am humbled and inspired as I read this book again on our way to Ireland

Headings such as ‘The sacredness of honor.’ ‘The miracle of the ordinary.’ ‘The appreciation of beauty.’ ‘The power of silence.’ ‘A life of service’ ‘The beauty of generosity.’ ‘Poverty and simplicity’ ‘The temple of nature.’ and ‘The importance of prayer.’ echo a noble culture we desperately need to rediscover.

I mentioned we had made two trips recently. The first was to Ojai California to visit Joel and Grace. The second was to the Sisseton Whapeton reservation.

The second line of chiefs we were privileged to be introduced to by our heavenly Father was Fern Cloud, a descendant of Chief Little Crow pictured below.

Fern’s son (chief) Brad left this world from his sleep, somewhere between February 16 and 17. We were invited to speak at his farewell gathering.

The ‘Chiefs’ from KC had won a few days earlier. The score was 25;22. The only book in scripture with 25 chapters and a 22nd verse is Psalm 25:22. It reads, “ Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his trouble.”

Brad, a gentle giant, had a troubled life. Near the end he called me desperate to be set free from his prison of fear. ‘ I need a number from you uncle Paul!” He cried. ‘461’ I blurted out

‘God is our refuge and strength an ever present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear though the earth give way…..” (Ps.46:1)

When I called back later he exclaimed. ‘It worked! I’m free!’

Unbeknown to me this was the scripture on the order of the funeral service.

The morning after Brad graduated I was directed to a card on Hilary’s dresser. When I opened it I knew it was a message Brad was sending to his mother.

The card began,

‘Dear Mum,

Thank you for giving me wings.”

It ended,

‘Thank you for the strength and will and passion….. to rise above.’

The card had been written years before by our son Ben. His characteristic signature was a large B and a squiggle. It could have as easily read, Brad.

Israel means ‘God rules‘ As with the first true Israelite, Jacob, it is the end result of God’s wrestling with us……and winning as we surrender. It is the making of a true ‘overcomer’ one who can ‘rise above’ their circumstances, and themselves.

The song and the particular verse I was lead to share was,

‘The plot unfolds from age to age

Each player acts, then leaves the stage.

Justice is coming make no mistake.

It won’t be early, but never late.”

Johnny Enlow’s prophetic analysis of the Super Bowl pointed out in Ps.25;2 that those who hope in the Lord will not be disappointed,……or delayed.

My mind returned to Wounded Knee and another Lakota chief, Chief Big Foot

This stark and brutal photo of Chief Big Foot lying dead and frozen in the snow after the massacre at Wounded Knee speaks volumes about the decades of humiliation and injustice suffered by the Native people.

The Ghost Dance was a spiritual movement that Chief Big Foot was a part of, that took hold of the Lakota and unnerved the troops who fired indiscriminately on women and children, the elderly and infirm. The Indians believed that if they would only ‘dance and sing’ the Great Spirit would restore the buffalo and all that had been lost, and a golden age of 1000 years would begin.

I believe as (chief) Brad acted his ‘part’ and then left ‘the stage’ on the same month the Chiefs had their third victory, we saw ‘the plot’ unfold as we move from one age to another.

This now is the time when there will be no further delay, but ‘justice is coming’, 134 years after these ones offered their prayers, but in God’s perfect time for them and for all “The Innocents” who have been unfairly treated throughout history. Here is their song again……

……I saw him join with his ancestors in a joyful ‘song and (Holy Ghost) dance’ of those who now know the end from the beginning.

He saw the Father’s smile and heard the Father ‘s welcoming song…

P.S. As an earthly witness to verify what I have written was given from heaven, I went to look at the order of service for Brad only to discover for the first time that his middle name was Allen.

Ah! I realized that’s it! Checking on different sites to discover the ‘pole of inaccessibility.’ Some said Kyle was the nearest settlement, while others said it was Allen

So the heart of North America actually lies between Kyle and Allen!

Well folks I said I would offer more reflections on the odd way in which the last post (Part 4) happened……

I mentioned in Part 1 of this series about the “fatal Genesis flaw” with WordPress which caused me to have to switch to a new operating system working from their app. I said how I thought this was prophetically pointing to how we are moving from one age to the next in God’s unfolding plan which is going to cause some disruption, but for the better🙂

I also went on to talk about the paths of the three eclipses forming an Alef Tav, the Christ signature, occurring in Genesis 1:1 denoting at the outset God’s sovereignty over the whole story.

I noticed last Thursday’s post was said to have been posted on March 11 when in fact it was posted on March 21.. March 11 was the same date on which Part 2 was posted. So that is highlighting once again the 11 as in Genesis 1:1

However beyond that I recalled having listened to a recent interview between Juan O Savin and James Grundig in which they talk about the significance of the date March 11 and how the Satanists target that date. One of the examples they gave was how the W.H.O.. could have declared the Pandemic in January 2020 but they waited until March 11.

The reason given was that 3×11 =33. This is the highest order in freemasonry and the Satanists believe that by capturing these dates and numbers they are increasing their occult power and control.

The truth of course is that “God laughs” at these ‘kings of the earth.’ ( Ps. 2)

I believe this interruption by Father is so emphatic that I am meant to share another profound experience that we had and have only shared in a limited fashion up until now.

For many years I was an ordained priest, celebrating Eucharist with a small group in our Upper Room. When the group that had ordained me discovered that I believed it was God’s plan to save all of Adam’s seed through the work of ‘the last Adam, (1Cor.15:22), they expelled me as a heretic.

I was forbidden to continue to ‘serve at the altar’ This however presented a predicament, because I had consecrated wine and bread that week and set some aside for another service. So what was I to do with the consecrated elements?

The morning I was reading the letter I had just received cutting me off, I heard a chain saw in our back yard. I realized I had arranged to have a dying white oak in our backyard removed. The morning I had been ‘cut off’, was the same morning the tree removal company had chosen to ‘cut off’ the dying tree!

I had requested they leave about two feet of a stump, but when I went out to inspect it I realized it was higher than that. On measuring it I discovered it was exactly 33 inches.

This was remarkable because the communion table we had been using in the Upper Room for some years I knew to also be 33 inches tall.

I understood the number 33 to represent ‘A Sign’

So I asked the Lord, what I should do about the consecrated elements. He said, “ I want you to pour the wine out over the stump, for the Upper Room has a ceiling but the redemptive work of Christ has no ceiling and extends like the sky above without limit.”

Thus God made it clear to me that he was approving of my faith in his sovereignty over all things and over all people …..and over the dates assigned to the posting of these blogs🙂

The message inherent in this remarkable ‘God intervention’ to adjust the dating of my last post post is a SIGN to simply affirm that the THE WORK of Christ on the Cross that we commemorated at the 33 communion tables, trumps and subsumes ALL the 33 ‘works of the devil’

Since arriving in the US God has time and again used the humble penny to speak to me.

I once heard that if Bill Gates spotted a $100 bill on the ground, it wouldn’t be worth his time to stoop down and pick it up!

When however I spot a solitary cent a bright new one in a fruit bowl or a dusty old one embedded on a path, I usually pause to pick it up and find inspiration as I read yet again the inscription

‘In God We Trust’

As with the children of Israel in the wilderness, America and Americans are now being tested, ‘ to see what is in their hearts.’ Is it faith or fear?

I have said before the heart of God’s purpose is found at the heart of the scriptures in the middle verse,

‘It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.’ (Ps. 118:8,9)

Certainly the last few years has given us great opportunity to grow in discernment as to which are and are not ‘trusted (while still fallible) voices’ amongst the ‘princes’

That is why this, another song from the Voyage album, has been proven to.be prophetic as things ‘in the natural’ here have been spiraling downwards over these last years.

I remember being given two ‘Agabus ‘type’ prophecies before we moved.

One brother who had recently returned to Belfast after spending a year in North America warned me, ‘Ah!Paul! You wouldn’t take your children to America would you?’ …..pointing to the increasingly godless youth culture.

Charlie, another prophetic brother warned us of an ‘economic crash’ he saw coming in the US.

Like Agabus, they both had received a true warning from the Lord for us, but even as Paul proceeded on toward Jerusalem knowing what lay ahead so we knew to be forewarned was to simply be forarmed. Our becoming citizens last year galvanized our commitment to pray for this land of our adoption.

The net result is that, especially in the light of the coming eclipse sign, we be careful to be found not part of that ‘evil and wicked generation’ but firmly in the camp of, ‘the generation of those who seek the Lord.’

And yet at the same time we can be carefree as we ‘trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding.’(Prov.3:5)

On Monday at our HeavenQuake home group the conversation turned to the question of a ‘faked moon landing’ and a ‘flat earth’.

The conclusion we came to before moving on to something of more practical and present relevance was that in view of all the falsehoods we have been told in the last few years, everything should be questioned.

The first scripture I read this morning confirmed the theme I had been given for these last two blogs I will post before Hilary and I fly to Ireland next Monday for seven weeks. (No doubt the blogs will then move again from an American to Irish perspective🙂)

‘Lord, I will sing about your faithful love for me. My song of praise will have your justice as its theme.’ (Ps.101:1)

Last month we were sent on two trips.

The first trip was to visit our son Joel, who is child #5 (grace) and who is married to a lovely lady called Grace! They live at #4205. 5 is grace yet again, and 42 represents the coming of the Christ (Matt.1:17) and the final encampment after crossing over the Jordan into the promised land (Num.33) .

They live in Ojai California, which is the native Chumash word for, “Valley of the Moon’ We arrived on a night with a full moon. My scripture that day was…..you’ve guessed it Psalm 89:37 which speaks about the moon as ‘that faithful witness in the sky.’ A picture of the bride of Christ.

That night Grace’s mother came for dinner. Her name is Rebecca. We had just been teaching on how Abraham sending his servant Eliezer to find a bride for his son Issac was a type of God the Father sending the Holy Spirit to find a bride for his son Jesus. That bride was named Rebecca.

Rebecca told us that was the only opportunity she had to meet us because the next day she was going out to meet her betrothed whose name was Chris(t)) at Palm (‘victory’) Springs.

These signs all pointed to the ‘crossing over’ from age to age, from Pentecost to Tabernacles as indicated in the (extended) title of that book (and this blog series) on their shelf, “It Ends (and Begins) with Us.”

We realized afterwards Joel and I had two baptisms (swims) in the Pacific Ocean,. The word Pacific is about being a ‘peacemaker’ The peacemakers are blessed because…….they shall be called “sons of God.” The Red Sea baptism represented coming out of bondage., the Jordan baptism, entering into immortality.

In 2010 we were invited to The Lamb of God community in Christchurch, New Zealand. There we sang our song proclaiming Jesus King and inviteing him to come and take his place in ChristChurch. A few days later an earthquake occurred. A subsequent and more deadly quake occurred on 2/22 the next year.

We were then invited to share at the Auckland branch of the community on our way to Australia.

At that time there was a full ‘blood red harvest moon’ and so I captured a photo of this for the background to the song I was given to share, with the community, Shake the Heavens. Here is the slide I used for the last verse of the song…….

Penned 25 years ago this song comes to the fore again, connecting ‘’the generation of those who seek the Lord.’ ‘’the ‘remnant of grace.’ ‘the bride of Christ’’ who are even now being shaken and purified to be brought into unity and intimacy with their coming King, as he is reflected in a full clear moon , the church that is the ‘witness in the sky” to the sun/Son.

A few months ago the ‘Valley of the Moon’ had an earthquake. I called Joel to check if they were OK. He sent me this video clip.

‘His final comments struck me as prophetic of what is happening to Christ’s true Church. ‘Grace just noticed this. The house is good .Oh Yeah! But it shook.’

This testing of the church is happening even in the midst of the ‘night of sin’ as wickedness and injustice are being exposed. Concurrently it states, “the day of justice shall begin.” confirming God’s word to me this morning🙂

One of the facts that came out with our ‘heavenly’ discussion at HQ on Monday was that the North Star never moves!

Our unchanging God and his unshakable kingdom is our North Star in these days when everything else seems to be in flux!

I share these ‘signs in the heavens’ that have come to us personally in addition to the upcoming eclipse sign that is being widely talked about.

When we landed in America nearly 30 years ago, I began recording my impressions. Our first album of songs was The Voyage of the Bright Hostage.

As I have recently listened again to some of these songs I realize now, how well founded my healthy skepticism was about “The New World’” we were encountering.

‘Land of Opportunity’ is a phrase Bobby Kennedy uses in his response to the State of the Union address recently delivered by Joe Biden, (Conservative commentators called it , ‘The most hateful and divisive SOTU ever given.’)

Kennedy laments the downward spiral of the country from what he remembers as a boy. The statistics he uses to back up his argument are shocking! Here is his speech.

The gist of my song is a questioning of people’s motivation in grasping this ‘opportunity.’

It struck me when we arrived that a prevailing spirit over America was “Show business” …..focusing on ‘appearances’ and ‘turning a profit’. You could call it Fame and Fortune as centered in Holywood on the west coast and New York on the east.

Scripture warns us about ‘looking on the outward ‘appearance’ when ‘God looks on ‘the heart’ and asks the question, ‘What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and looses his own soul?’ Rather we are told ‘the only thing that matters is faith working through love.’(Gal.5:6)

When I ran the New York City Marathon in 1998 I was invited to lead a pre race worship time for the runners with “Lord Jesus We Enthrone You”.

I recall afterwards our driving up out of the city. Behind us lay the Twin Towers, representing the financial capital of Babylon. In the back seat Abby began singing once again, ‘Lord Jesus we enthrone You ……we proclaim you are King of New York…..Come Lord Jesus and take your place here.’

Gilbert (or Joshua as he was then) seated beside her, began laughing.

‘What are you laughing at?” I asked.

‘ Ha!” He said, “ I can see playing cards coming out of Abby’s mouth as she is singing.”

‘What are they?’ I asked.

‘A King, Queen, Jack, Ten and Ace.” He said.

Father whispered, “ It is a ‘royal flush’. I am coming to take my place as King of New York, but first there will be a flushing out of evil.”

Two years later we witnessed the destruction of those Twin Towers and the start of the uncovering of America’s widespread institutional corruption.

Another early assignment had us walking down Holywood Boulevard, in L.A, again proclaiming Jesus King, and inviting him to come and take his place, in Babylon’s entertainment capital.

I had a sudden urge to find a Restroom and relieve myself, so dashed in through the first hopeful looking doorway available. Having discharged my load, (physical and spiritual) I emerged out on the street again, to be greeted by our LA host.

‘Ha! You just went to the toilet in the Kodak Theatre…….That is where the Oscars – the Academy Awards ceremony takes place !’

Again I sensed Father say, “I will come and take my place here too and it will involve again a ‘’royal flush’ as I purge out evil and corruption.’

Over these last years, we have seen this happening more and more.

Bobby Kennedy ends by appealing for a restoration of the vision that motivated the Puritans and Pilgrim Fathers, that this land be ‘a City set upon a hill.’ bringing light to the world.

Boston, the city from which Kennedy came was where that vision was first cast by Puritan John Winthrop whose group settled there.

Interestingly Boston was also the city to which our son Robin had to go to have his leg amputated a few years ago.

His journey through ‘the valley of the shadow of death.’ gave birth to the song , City of Light about ‘faith working through love.’

I believe God’s purpose for this nation as ‘a beacon of hope’ for the world, after it’s ’near death experience’,……will indeed come to pass.

It’s time for ‘kingdom show business’!

We are having our own City of Light show at the Big Green House on the hill, this coming Saturday. All are welcome……

Are we that generation?

I am referring to two generations; the ‘evil and adulterous generation’ identified in Matt. 12;39 and ‘the generation of ‘those who seek the Lord’ identified in Psalm.24.

Both these spiritual ‘generations’ have existed within all the physical generations of mankind . However as God’s story unfolds there will be one generation in actual time, that will participate in the transition from one age to another.

I believe ‘as on the day of Pentecost, This is that’ generation.

I took the photo above ‘randomly’ while last in Ireland. I noticed it again as I was ‘cleaning up’ my photo library just before we left for California.

Then on the flight I happened to notice what the lady in front of me was reading that same middle of the pile book, “It Ends With Us’

When we arrived with Joel and Grace I glanced up from the dinner table- and there it was again..….for the third time!

Is our Father referencing the age we have been in.?

A third witness indicates timing.

For the last few weeks I have been silent, not because God has not been speaking to me, quite the opposite. I could write reams!

The reason for no blog is because when I tried to log in to WordPress I was told there had been a “fatal flaw in the Genesis theme.”

I then read Stephen Jones blog about “The sign for an evil generation” identified as ‘The sign of Jonah’ of Matthew 12.

Again while evil has existed throughout the generations it is being exposed today as never before. On a recent interview Juan O Savin revealed the horrific fact that over the last 4 years half a million children crossing the southern boarder have gone missing, that is they have been trafficked for sex !

The course of the upcoming eclipse in April is through 8 towns in America all named Nineveh after the city to which Jonah was sent with a message from God – to repent. So this ‘sign of Jonah ‘ is being written through the eclipse over America!

However, taken with the course of the eclipse in 2020 which passed through several cities called Salem (peace) these lines form a Tav, the last letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and the mark of the cross ,that was the mark placed on the foreheads of those in Ezekiel 9: 4,5, who had ‘grieved and lamented over the detestable things that had been done.’

If you then add the course of the third eclipse in 2023 the third line forms the Alef, the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet.

It is in Genesis 1:1 that ‘alef tav’ occurs, untranslated in our bibles but representing Christ who is the beginning and end of God’s story where a ‘fatal flaw’ was built into the plan in Genesis which would then be gloriously resolved by the Christ who would be crucified in his first coming. But like the prophetic shadow Jonah, Jesus would be raised up after three days out of the ‘belly of the whale/earth’ and would then subsequently complete his mission, which was the salvation of the entire ‘evil’ city of Nineveh.

Thus the ‘Genesis flaw’ – would be resolved.

I asked Gilbert to help me resolve my ‘Genesis flaw’ issue with WordPress. He did this by downloading the WordPress app. So writing this blog has been a new experience for me as I move from one operating system to a new …..and better one.

God’s Word will not fail as he goes to press publishing for all to see the updated version of his glorious gospel in this upcoming new and better age.

I take all this quite personally because over 50 years ago we had a ‘gospel group‘ called,’’The Sign of Jonah..’ One of my first songs had the punch line,

‘No sign will be given but the sign of Jonah.’

This year 2024 is 70 jubilees from when Joshua lead the people across the Jordan into the Promised Land. I calculated the year of our gospel group “The Sign of Jonah.” was 1970..

70 represents Restoration being the number of years Adam fell short of the glorious 1000.

This certainly is shaping up to be a ‘glorious’ year like no other!

‘I have seen the wicked prosper, always carefree increasing in wealth

With their mouths laying claim to heaven

With their tongues possessing the earth.’

What an accurate description of what is being uncovered today! We have seen the largest transfer of wealth in human history over the last few years into the hands of a ‘wicked’ elite who have usurped God’s position and created a false narrative to consolidate their power and control.

Some call these “Babylonian rulers” the “Deep State’ or the “Luciferian DEATH cult.”

They map perfectly onto the description of what God says he hates in Prov.6:16-19

‘There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.’

The psalmist then sees their end,

‘You have cast them down in ruins and suddenly they are no more

But you are my strength and my refuge

You’re my portion now and evermore.’

I mentioned “The Greatest Lie Ever Sold’ documentary last time, giving the fuller truth about the “George Floyd.” Incident. Another documentary I would highly recommend uncovering the same deceit is called “The Fall of Minneapolis.” It tells the story again from the perspective of other ‘good cops’, ‘on the ground’

The title again is full of significance not just because it describes our home town but because it echoes that sudden destruction spoken of in Revelation 18 that we are witnessing even now …..”Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen.” Here is the link. https://www.thefallofminneapolis.com/

The psalmist however almost didn’t make it! He begins the psalm….

”But as for me, my feet has almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped.”

This is why verse 2 of the song goes…

”If my heart had grown bitter my children would have been betrayed

So I sought for greater understanding

And found it in the house of God.”

So too when we look at the injustice around us and are tempted to get frustrated with the (apparent) slowness of God to bring judgement and justice, it would be easy to become embittered. But then the psalmist says, he would have become as a “brute beast’

What is that? …..A reversion to base animal instincts….which is exactly what ‘the wicked’ are displaying. In other words our inability to step down from arrogantly usurping God’s position as judge, results in our becoming hardened…… and brute beasts, just like them!

Passing this test takes us to the next level of intimacy with God and the blessedness that then follows.

”Always with you. And being with you nothing else I desire

Always with you. It is good to be with you my God.”

And so the final verse goes……

”Still you hold me by my right hand. You guide my footsteps every day

Afterwards I know you will take me to glory,

And there I will stay.”

This is one of the lyrics that I would now change from when I originally wrote it as my understanding of God’s plan has matured over the years. I would now sing….

”Afterwards I know you will make me your glory and there I will stay………”

Our primary desire should be to manifest God’s glory here and now on earth in accordance with his promise to cover the earth with his glory as the waters cover the sea, rather than it be merely an afterlife aspiration!

I was confirmed in this blog, which had been simmering, after hearing Johnny Enlow Unfiltered last Monday.

Exactly the same message drawn from the story of Job. Highly recommend from 25 minute mark!

I ended the last blog by quoting those famous lyrics, “The Times They are a Changing .” While charting a course of healing from cancer for our ‘dear one’ I came across the following interview at the end of which Chris the interviewer uses the same phrase in connection with cancer treatment. ‘Things are changing.”
